Loved roaming around the wildlife-friendly garden, sitting by the cozy log burning fire, and being entertained by the mini theatre. Paul and Maggie were fantastic hosts. Cons: Oh dear, the rain ruined my chance to capture a perfect picture of the elusive garden robin. Such a shame.

Had an amazing Xmas getaway! The hosts were super welcoming and gave us great tips for exploring the area. The cottage was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed. Loved the free roaming in their wildlife-friendly garden, and the outdoor bar with a cozy log burning fire was perfect for chilly nights. Plus, they even had a mini theater for entertainment! The location was key, with lots of nearby attractions and restaurants to choose from. a wonderful stay.
Honestly, can't think of anything negative. We had a great time and everything was perfect.

Loved staying at the cottage, felt like royalty. Paul and Maggie were fabulous hosts, and the cottage was cozy and well-equipped. The garden was a wildlife paradise, shame the robin didn't sit still long enough for a photo.
Oh, the rain! But hey, it didn't ruin my holiday.

The hosts, Paul and Maggie, were the absolute bomb - they made us feel so welcome and gave us the lowdown on all the cool places to hit up in Yorkshire. We checked out the sick outdoor bar with a legit log burning fire and the mini theatre where they put on rad shows. Plus, the cottage itself was on fleek - comfy, warm, and had all the gadgets we needed. Best vacay ever!
The only bummer was that there wasn't a super wild party scene nearby. We had a blast at Mill Cottage, but for young party-goers like us, it would've been wicked to have a banging club or a funky bar within stumbling distance.

This lovely cottage was like a fairy tale with its beautiful gardens and cozy interiors. The hosts were so attentive and even recommended local restaurants. It was almost perfect, if only the rain hadn't tried to ruin everything. Oh, and the robin, so camera shy!
Who needs sunshine and good photo opportunities anyways?
